Is Sol de Janeiro Cruelty-Free?
Best known for their deliciously scented Bum Bum Cream, is Sol de Janeiro cruelty-free?
Sol de Janeiro claims to avoid animal testing and has built a cult following around their Brazilian Bum Bum Cream. It seems like everyone has, at one time or another, had a tub in their beauty product stash. Using key ingredients such as cupuaçu butter, acai, and coconut oil, their products are said to be super moisturizing and have great skincare benefits.
They started with just body products like lotions and scrubs, but they have now expanded into cruelty-free perfume and hair products too. Most of the products share the classic pistachio and vanilla scent. But several new, and just as great, scents have been added to the lineup over the years. You’ve probably seen Sol de Janeiro at your local Sephora or on Cult Beauty. They have bright packaging and focus on making a handful of really effective products in a variety of scents.
