Hey Tashina!
I just wanted to let you know that Estee Lauder owns 1/3 of Deciem, and therefore The Ordinary. As you may know, Estee Lauder claims to be cruelty-free, yet they continue to sell in China, allow third parties to test on their behalf, and it is unknown if their suppliers test on animals too.
I’m very sad t0 discover this as I love and trusted The Ordinary!
Hi! As noted in the post, Estee Lauder is an investor in the company.
Are Beauty bay own brand eyeshadow pallets and brushes cruelty free?
Dear Tashina,
Only a few cruelty free brands are available where I live. Also not many sites ship for free to my country, but Beauty Bay does. So I wanted to check all of their brands but never had time, that’s why this list means SO, SO much to me! It will make shopping there so much easier. Thank you for your work!
Happy holidays!
Oh! I’m so glad this helps you!!!
Thank you for all that you do Tashina! Any word on whether Beauty Bay’s own brand is Cruelty-free? It says PETA certified and vegan friendly on a lot of their (stunning) eyeshadow palette descriptions but that doesn’t mean as much to me as your thorough standards do!
